Notification of Results (via email only): 26 March 2019

Symposium Registration Deadline for Presenters of Accepted Abstracts: 01 April 2019 (or abstract will be declined)


 

Important Notes

  • Abstracts must be written in English

  • All abstract(s) submission must be done in PDF format and emailed to Rebecca Morton at info.aes2019@gmail.com with the subject line "AES/AAE Abstract" before the closing date.

  • Presenters are allowed to submit more than one abstract.

  • All abstracts must be original work.

  • An abstract must contain sufficient information so that it will be a complete report independent of presentation. The text should not contain statements alluding to results or conclusions not presented within the text.

  • The abstract must not exceed the 250 word limit. Abstracts exceeding the 250 limit will be returned for re-submission. The word limit relates to the text only of the abstract and does not include title.

  • The complete abstract (including text, graphs and tables) must not exceed a size limit of 15cm wide and 12cm in length.

  • The abstract should be typed in Arial or similar font, size 11pt and single line spacing

 

Young Investigator Award Criteria

  • The applicant must not be more than five years post-PhD or postgraduate qualification as at the abstract submission deadline. 

  • The work must be substantially new and the applicant must have made a significant contribution to the concept and execution of the work. 

  • Submissions for the Prize session are restricted to a single paper only. 

  • If an abstract is submitted for a prize session and is not accepted for the prize, it is automatically considered for presentation in the general Scientific Meeting. 

  • Please note the details provided as the author contact should be for the nominated main contact for your abstract.

  • All correspondence relating to the submission will be directed to this person, and they should in turn distribute to all co-authors.
